If you have not yet tried the Nintendo Wii, now is a great time to do so. Forget the outrageous prices that all the top systems started at. You can own a Wii for under $150 along with the Mario Kart game and the Wii wheel, which is a steering wheel you can steer your kart with.
The games have also gotten way more affordable. Instead of the $50 and up they used to retail at, games can now be purchased for $19.99. That’s quite a change (and quite a lot of change you will get back).
The Nintendo Wii system has wireless “wiimotes” that you hold like a television remote. They are easy to hold and use, and make your play time so much more fun. Many games do not even require you to push buttons. You just aim the wiimote at the tv and move it around accordingly.
You can connect your wii to netflix, if you are a subscriber, and enjoy plenty of gaming fun. Purchase games right online through the game channel on your wii, or visit one of the many other channels your wii offers. Such as the nintendo channel, where you can see all the latest games and even the classics. The news channel updates you on all the current issues. The forecast channel will give you the weather anywhere you seek.
For tons of fun visit the Mii channel. Here you create little “miis” that you play many of your games with. All your friends and family can also create miis, and you can do lots of silly things with them like have a parade. There’s even a photo channel, where you can upload your own digital photos and make them into puzzles, mosaics, or just use effects to make them totally crazy!

Everyone is excited about the new shake up technology used by the IPhone and Android platforms, such as the Samsung Galaxy Ace, as well as any other truly smart phone, but current complaints have revealed this shaking technology may be flawed for data protection. This flaw is allowing hackers or others to potentially see what a person is typing on the keyboard revealing possible sensitive information.
This technology uses motion detection or motion sensing to operate the application or object that is in question, the only problem is that as this is working it has the potential of allowing hackers to enter and grab personal data. Privacy is not always a guarantee when using most technologies since hackers are always looking to exploit any loopholes that may be in the systems.
While some hackers are stealing, others are finding ways to protect the privacy of technology users. Hao Chen of the University of California is working on such a technology that would help protect users of the smart phone “jiggle” option. He and his partner are working on an option to make sure that people are still protected when using this technology on their IPhone, Android, or other smart phone devices.
In the same note there are other hacking programs that are allowing smart phones to be eavesdropping devices. The Android and iOS are possible targets for hackers to drop programming into the phone during use that will turn the phone into a remote listening device. People can be simply using their phones and that phone can be used to tap into other people’s conversation that is standing by.
Potential problems with this remote listening device could be that privacy laws are going to be broken and people will no longer have the ability to seek warning in advance of the eavesdropping going on. This is illegal phone tapping.

Last Thursday, Kim was seen doing some last minute arrangements in NYC. Kim and beau, NBA star Kris Humphries are to be wed on August 20th. Just two more days to get all of those errands done, Kim! The couple will be joined in a ceremony in Montecito, California, this Saturday in what promises to be an extravagant, expensive wedding.
Halle Barry is celebrating her 45th birthday this week. The A-lister had a small get-together with close friends and family on August 14th. Halle was looking as hot as ever for her celebration, spending it at the beach in a two piece bikini that proves she’s still got it. It attendance was boyfriend, Olivier Martinez, and young daughter Nahla.
In Reality TV news, Ambercrombie and Fitch are still proposing a deal to get Jersey Shore cast member, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino to stop wearing their clothing products on set. An official statement by A&F read,
“We are deeply concerned that Mr. Sorrentino’s association with our brand could cause significant damage to our image,” and left little doubt as to their stance on having the Jersey Shore star flaunting the brand name in front of cameras.
The buzz on the music scene this week is Katy Perry, who managed quite a feat when her fifth single from her album Teenage Dream tied the King of Pop’s record for having five #1 singles on an album. Michael Jackson’s 1987 album Bad was the only other in music history to top the charts five times for singles. Teenage Dream has sold only 1,700,000 copies, reflecting a market trend to online, streaming music rather than CD or MP3 purchases.
